My son sees my art around our home. Yep, I love to paint! I am an artist. I would tell him stories about Sassy and share my ideas with him.
He inspired me to share our experience the day he lost his first tooth. It shows how funny and frustrating being a single parent can be. My son’s voice yelling, “Maah me” echoes through our home every day. It is a story meant to be read out loud to a younger child, on the verge of losing a tooth, but also gives us all a moment to remember we have things in common!
Being human, making mistakes, and knowing it is ok to ask for help. I told him I would publish it and I got help to make it happen. I want to inspire other people to share their stories too!
